Swift Solutions for Tough Challenges

With Coronavirus on the rise this spring, L&D’s largest food service client, QuickChek, needed to swiftly find a solution that would offer both employees and customers protection at more than 150 retail sites in the Tristate area.

The design needed to meet several criteria:

  1. Limit workflow disruption between the employee and client in order to meet service standards

  2. Ensure sightlines were not disrupted for safety and enhanced customer experience

  3. Provide protection for employees and customers alike

Within one week of the request, L&D was able to design, manufacture and implement the on-site solution meeting all of QuickChek’s needs. Close to 200 protective plexiglass shields were designed, manufactured, and installed in each of their 157 stores.
